A unique opportunity for families to learn the HMong language and culture together! In this unique family program, both parents/caregivers and children K-12 will learn the HMong language and culture.
Dates: Mondays and Thursdays beginning Monday, January 27th

FINANCIAL EDUCATION SEMINAR
Entry-Beginner-Intermediate-Advanced students

NOTE: Interpretation, child supervision, and transportation assistance available upon request.
This Financial Literacy class provides essential knowledge on managing personal finances, from understanding the role of banks and different types of accounts to building credit and investing for the future. Students will also learn how to protect their money from scams and make informed decisions about big financial milestones like buying a home or planning for retirement.

Q: Who can attend your classes?
A: Our classes are open to all adults in the community. Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your English skills, we welcome you!
Q: How much do the classes cost?
A: All our classes and tutoring services are completely free for students.
Q: How do I enroll in a class?
A: To enroll, you can contact us via our online student application (link), phone, email, or visit our office. We can help you get started!
Q: What instruction do you offer?
A: We offer classes in Reading, Writing, Math, English language, Civics & Citizenship, Computer Skills, and Individual Projects like GED, HSED, Citizenship and Driver’s test, and more.
Q: What if I have a busy schedule?
A: We understand. Our classes are flexible, so we do our best to design a schedule that works for you.
Q: Can I take more than one class at a time?
A: Yes! You are welcome to enroll in multiple classes.
Q: What materials do I need for class?
A: We provide most materials, including pens/pencils and notebooks to students who need them, but you may be asked to bring basic supplies like notebooks or pens. Some students bring laptop computers.
Q: Are the classes in-person or online?
A: Most classes are in-person at our Appleton, WI location, but classes are also available throughout Outagamie, Waupaca, northern Winnebago, and northern Calumet counties, as well as online.
Q: What can I expect from taking your classes?
A: Improving your skills can open new opportunities for employment, civic engagement, and personal growth. Our inclusive and supportive staff and tutors will help you to achieve your goals.
